In view of this, the pollution committee has adopted sealing action. Along with inspecting 21 industrial units in the Khyala redevelopment area, 15 industrial units operating without environmental standards have been ordered to be closed.
The Pollution Committee had also issued a show cause notice to the automobile service station and repair unit for not following the standards in Patparganj area. Actually, in the Yamuna near Kalindi Kunj, pictures of white foaming were revealed due to large amount of polluted elements. Detergents were cited by experts as the main reason for this. In this regard, a Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) official said that most of the detergents across the country do not meet international standards, which can control the amount of phosphate in chemical substances.

Phosphate is believed to be the main reason behind the formation of polluted foam in the Yamuna, as detergents are mostly used in dyeing units, Dhobi Ghats and homes. Restricted detergents are being used in most of the Dhobi Ghats and homes. Which reaches Yamuna directly through drains.
